As a Gallery Manager with Clarendon Fine art, you will be leading a dynamic, ambitious, sales and client focused team, who from our beautiful boutique gallery in Stratford Upon-Avon provide a personalised consultation service to bring beautiful artwork to our exclusive and ever extending client base.

You don’t need to be an art expert for this role, we will teach you everything you need to know; however, you do need to have a hunger and drive to deliver an exceptional experience, to network and build your client base in order to meet and exceed sales targets.

Day to day you will:

  • Be a motivational leader of your sales team, focused on creating a memorable customer experience by building rapport, sharing product knowledge, and catering to your clients’ needs.
  • Reporting into the Area Sales Manager you will develop and motivate your team, identifying opportunities to develop your galleries client base.
  • Provide a first-class consultative service to all clients to create desire and convert to sales.
  • Build and nurture long term client relationships to create loyalty and sales opportunity.
  • Deliver a personalised service including private artwork showings in gallery, at the client’s home, or office, to showcase artwork specifically selected for the client.
  • Engage with and build your client database using the CRM to create deep and lasting relationships to create sales and experience opportunities, ensuring your sales team do the same.
  • Curate the gallery to always be beautiful and inspiring, bringing the artwork to life to attract new business.
  • Manage and host your client guestlist at an array of Artists events with a view to creating memorable interactions and experiences for your clients whilst selling pieces to enrich their lives.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in luxury sales management, leading a sales team to hit individual monthly sales targets.
  • Ambitious and target driven with experience working to and achieving personal targets/sales figures.
  • Warm, confident, and outgoing personality that will welcome our clients, creating the desire for artwork, making it easy for them to buy.
  • Intuitive, engaging and creative with the ability to understand the clients’ preferences and desires to match and convert the sale on their perfect piece of art.
  • Luxury sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • An art background or passion for art would again be advantageous but not essential.

What we’ll offer you:

  • Base salary up to £35,000 with uncapped commission potential (Average OTE £50,000 - £60,000)
  • Lucrative commission structure affording up to 5% of all sales made on and over target. Plus potential of additional bonus dependent on your sales team hitting target.
  • Industry leading Art Academy training course to provide you with the tools you need to succeed.
  • Beautiful Gallery setting, architecturally designed to exquisitely display the artist portfolio.
  • 40hrs per week, working 5 days over 7 including weekends and occasional evening events.
  • 33 days annual leave (25 days holiday plus bank holidays in lieu if worked)
