We have an award-winning reputation, industry leading safety culture and have had the privilege to be a part of some of the most critical infrastructure projects taking place today. Short DescriptionTAG Construction Ltd are currently seeking a skilled,proficient and versatile Ganger Worker to join our team. Job Description:As a Ganger, your responsibilities would be to oversee and coordinate the activities of a construction crew, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications. Your primary duties will involve supervising workers, organizing tasks, and liaising with site management to meet project deadlines and quality standards.Responsibilities:Crew Supervision: Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, including laborers, tradespeople, and apprentices. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and quality of work. Work Planning: Plan and organize daily work activities, including task allocation, equipment deployment, and material procurement. Coordinate with site management to develop work schedules and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines. Safety Management: Enforce health and safety regulations and procedures on the worksite, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, and hazard identification. Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections to mitigate risks and prevent accidents. Quality Control: Monitor workmanship and construction standards to ensure that work meets project specifications and quality requirements. Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of construction to identify and address defects or deficiencies. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with site management, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular progress updates, report any issues or delays, and collaborate to resolve problems and challenges. Requirements:CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Blue card Mandatory Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, preferably as a ganger or foreman. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials. Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driving license may be advantageous for site travel
