Gateman in Cambridgeshire

I have a new opportunity for a Gateman to join my clients Cambridgeshire Projects delivery team who are responsible for delivering a wide variety of exciting highway projects throughout Cambridgeshire.   Job Description:   - Control access to the construction site, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles enter. - Carrying out any other associated works as required by the Works Manager - Perform routine checks on incoming and outgoing vehicles to maintain site security. - Issue passes and maintain accurate records of personnel and vehicle movements. - Communicate effectively with site staff and delivery personnel. - Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on site. - Assist with the general upkeep and cleanliness of the site entrance area.   Essential Skills:   Basic understanding of health and safety regulations. - CSCS card or relevant certification. - Traffic Management qualification would be advantageous. - Safety Critical.   Desirable Skills:   - Proven experience as a Gateman, preferably in a highways construction environment. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with site personnel and visitors. - Vigilant and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on site security and safety. - Familiarity with construction site operations and procedures. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.   For more information, click APPLY NOW or call Mark Davies on (phone number removed).   FOOTNOTE:   If you feel that you are right for this role technically, but the rate, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
