Global Employee Relations Manager in London

This newly created role will be responsible for proactively managing Renesas’ compliance with employment law and regulations and providing counsel to HR Teams and Business Leaders on escalated employment matters across all countries in which the company’s workforce operates.

ResponsibilitiesnAct as a subject matter expert in all areas of employment, ensure best practice in Employee Relations related topics.nWorking closely with HR Regional leads, our internal legal team and external counsel, create and regularly update a comprehensive compliance/legal framework related to employment law in all jurisdictions and lead the implementation of approaches where gaps are identified.nAct as a knowledge expert for compliance based audits as well as helping reviewing policies from other department to ensure alignment with HR policies.nProvide support and guidance to leaders and HR team colleagues on a broad range of escalated employment issues including internal investigations, employee relations issues, disciplinary processes and code of conduct breaches.nPartner with regional HR leads to support integration of Human Resources policies across acquired organisations. Ensure a common understanding and interpretation of policies and procedures.nProvide guidance to HR Operations team to ensure systems and processes are built in alignment with local employment requirements for each jurisdiction.nDefine strategies to build Employee Relations capability in HR teams and business leaders.

QualificationsnRelevant Employee Relations experience within a complex, fast paced, global organization. (UK + additional country)nExperience in operating in multiple jurisdictions and partnering with legal advisors and local HR teams to ensure appropriate application of policy and processnCommercial and pragmatic approach to problem solving and assessment of risknPersuasive and articulate communication in English.nBroad knowledge of addressing and conducting investigations to achieve resolution and minimise risk.nHigh levels of integrity & collaborative.
