Overview

Overview:

The Global Payroll Manager will lead all aspects of payroll processing and ensure the efficient and smooth running of payroll activities and benefits administration processes for our global employee population. This includes overseeing payroll processing schedules, managing third-party providers, and maintaining compliance with tax regulations. The Global Payroll Manager will also be responsible for implementing modernization and digitalization initiatives, as well as developing a cohesive payroll strategy across all regions.

Your Mission:

Pay Strategy:

  • Ensure delivery excellence across all pay activities and manage relationships with third-party providers.
  • Monitor performance KPIs and drive continuous improvement in pay processes.
  • Lead global payroll strategies and collaborate with local People teams to ensure competitiveness.
  • Stay updated on the pay landscape and introduce innovative ideas to maintain a competitive edge.

Reward Administration:

  • Supports delivering our reward strategy across all countries
  • Manages our clothing allowance globally
  • Calculates commission, retail and corporate bonuses to be processed through payroll

Payroll Processing & Tax Compliance:

  • Define global processes for payroll management and oversee processing schedules.
  • Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers and address any concerns.
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery in payroll processing.
  • Conduct validations and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor time tracking processes and process all bonuses and additional payments.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative processes and tax obligations.
  • Collaborate with tax advisors for pay related matters.

People Costs & Reporting:

  • Provide cash flow impacts for future months to support financial projections.
  • Carry out mandatory reporting required by authorities.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as needed, such as GDPR, RTI, or pay gap analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with all local reporting requirements.
  • Partner with finance and global People teams to record actual payroll spends accurately.
  • Compile GL files for finance departments and conduct audits for accuracy.

Systems & Time Tracking:

  • Partner with the systems team to develop and maintain pay integrations and reports.
  • Manage time tracking systems and ensure accurate data transfer to payroll.
  • Set up local time tracking systems if required.
  • Participate in design sessions for operational processes and systems.
  • Maintain data across Workday and other systems in collaboration with regional People teams.

Your Talent:

  • Experience in leading and developing a team in payroll processing.
  • Background in HR and payroll administration is desirable.
  • Prior experience with Workday or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in managing outsourced third-party payroll providers.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Versatile and collaborative work style.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to handle multiple tasks and last-minute requests.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate, creative, and solution-focused.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across the organization.
