Those who live outside a 10 mile radius of Rochester, need not apply.ABOUT US:We at CC Cousins are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work within our civil / groundworks division of our facilities maintenance company based in Kent as our Groundworks labourer.As Groundworks labourer, you will working along side an engineer on a daily basis, covering commercial retail and business estates, undertaking everything for fencing, tarmacking, kerb repairs and installation, concrete works, and ensuring sites are well maintained and tidy.THE ROLE:As a Groundwork Labourer, you will be responsible for a multitude of works on a variation of jobs including but not limited to:Groundworks will include: * Concrete works * Kerb lines repair, replacement or install. * Aco channel drainage repair, replacement or install. * Tarmac works * Fencing * Ensuring sites are left clean and tidy * Adhere to health and safety on site * Fetch equipment as required.General locational coverage throughout London the home counties, southeast and south west regions. Hours of work are flexible from early mornings to later afternoons, evenings and weekends available as overtime dependant on workload therefore time flexibility is essential.A van and fuel card will be provided. A driving licence and transport is essentialDESIRABLE SKILL: * 2 years or more previous experience in the industry / within Groundworks. * Ability to work alone and as part of a team. * Full UK licence is required. * CSCS Card * Street works (SWQR) (Advantageous not essential)The desirable candidate would be expected to be able to think on their feet and take initiative when needed.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION * Full uniform and PPE Provided. * Vehicle with a variety of tools provided. * 20 Days holiday + bank holidays * Pension scheme
