Group Management Accountant in Diss

the role.

This is a senior position within the company where you will work closely with the Finance Director, taking the reins of the day-to-day running of the finance function with a real focus on developing your team of 3 to progress within their roles and develop their skills.

The team covers the main transactional work such as sales purchase ledger, payroll and credit control etc.

Within your role you will be responsible for:-Completion of month end and preparation of accounts Providing effective narrative to ensure correct interpretation via divisional teams Prepare meaningful balance sheet reconciliations ensuring the balance remains clean and relevant Preparing and delivering high-quality reports Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts Support external audit process and ensure internal controls are followed VAT returns, statutory returns, and ad-hoc special projects work Developing your team to be their best and grow within the groupwhy should you apply.

As the Management Accountant, you will be invaluable to a very busy finance director, who needs to spend their time assisting with growth planning within this successful group.

We need an excellent financial background in Management Accounting coupled with either CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualifications.

As this is a key position it goes without saying that you must be excellent at creating and growing relationships and communicating clearly.

We need good knowledge of Xero as well as the usual MS Office packages and the ability to work well within the wider group.
