We are looking for a Global Head of Sales to be a player manager and join the senior leadership team, working directly with the CEO to drive sales while enhancing and expanding Skill Dynamics already very successful client portfolio.

This candidate will be working collaboratively across the organisation to generate new business and supporting the wider global sales team to achieve their targets.

This role is pivotal in ensuring Skill Dynamics maintains and further embeds its market leading position, and offers a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to own this critical role which contributes directly to the future success of the business.

Core responsibilities:

  • A proven track record in managing revenue growth through Solution sales.
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the sales cycle, solution selling and ability to create a pipeline of profitable business.
  • Owning and contributing towards annual sales targets across territories and teams.
  • Maintaining an effective sales team by supporting team members, being a player-manager and leading by example.
  • Provides leadership and direction to the team for defining and executing on their territory plans,
  • Working hand -in-hand with Marketing, as a key internal partner, to ensure there is a linked-up approach to creating opportunities and leads.
  • Attend industry conferences, exhibitions and events to build brand awareness and generate sales opportunities.
  • Executing strategic plans to reach sales targets and expand the customer base.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 6 years sales leadership experience within a solution based sales environment.
  • Strong experience in SaaS/Technology sales with a proven track record closing five- six figure deals.
  • Experience in hiring, coaching and developing a geographically distributed team.
  • In-depth knowledge of the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and a track record of building pipelines, closing, and hitting sales goals.
  • Start-up or scaleup experience, comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders at C-Level within global multi-national organisations.
  • Leadership style that takes ownership, accountability & responsibility for deliverables & continuously striving for improvement.
  • Ability to travel as required locally, regionally and globally
