Your responsibilities will include:Operational and Strategic Planning: Develop department improvement plans, lead the creation of syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessments, and teaching strategies to ensure high-quality education.Curriculum Delivery: Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive, cost-effective, and exceptional curriculum in the field of Religious education. Lead the development of the subject and its delivery, keeping it relevant and engaging for students.Staff Development: Recruit, build, and manage a motivated and effective team of staff. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to promote growth and excellence among the department members.Student Outcomes: Implement effective target setting, monitoring, and evaluation systems to track student progress. Maintain accurate student data and work towards achieving positive student outcomes.Pastoral System: As part of the pastoral team, be a form tutor for a selected group of students.
