My client are a leading fit out and refurbishment contractor delivering exceptional professional services to a number of leading clients across the UK.

With a strong pipeline of diverse and exciting schemes, they are seeking an experienced and talented Health and Safety Manager to join their dynamic team.

The Health and Safety Manager will oversee the implementation, management, and integration of Health and Safety Standards across the organisation.

As the Health and Safety Manager, your responsibilities will include:Serving as the Health and Safety champion and coordinator, supporting the Project Manager in fulfilling Health and Safety obligations on site.

Providing practical guidance, monitoring, and ensuring basic legal compliance.

Collaborating with the Head of Health and Safety for necessary advice and support.

Developing and maintaining site induction materials, monitoring their quality, and reviewing associated paperwork as needed.

Conducting site inspections and documenting findingsCoordinating with other managers for inspections and Targeted Risk Monitoring, ensuring findings are recorded and acted upon promptly.

Ensuring necessary inspections align with the project's risk profile, covering areas like hoarding, lifting, fire safety, and statutory requirements.

Taking immediate action to halt unsafe work practices and promptly reporting concerns to the Project Manager.

Conducting accident, incident, and Near Miss investigations, completing all relevant paperwork.
