Role Overview:

Position: Teaching Assistant for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Location: Newcastle

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers to implement engaging activities and lesson plans.

Provide personalised support to students, both one-on-one and in small groups, across various subjects.

Adapt materials to meet the individual requirements of students with special educational needs (SEN).

Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment by supervising students at all times.

Foster a positive atmosphere conducive to learning and growth.

Support teachers in assessing student progress and development.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting.

Genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and disabilities.

Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Minimum of a high school diploma; a qualification in education or child development is advantageous.

Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
