Salary: £28,308.84

Position
Role Accountabilities
To accompany the Foreman Driver during all operations activities ensuring a smooth transition to driver operator. Learn all CSG/Valero safety requirements. Be prepared to work with a small team ensuring all works are completed safely and compliant. Carry out daily checks and 360 walk arounds. Communicate with the driver/foreman and all other team members. Gain full knowledge of the site and different working areas. Gain full knowledge of your PPE and Health & Safety requirements. Gain full knowledge of your JHA and day to day reporting responsibilities. Personal presentation and the expectation to be presentable when meeting the PPE standards required. Customer care with our own colleagues. All work force throughout the terminal MUST be aware of the position they hold and that teamwork in our environment is essential to the smooth running of the contract. Customer care with Valero and other sub-contractors. When the driver/operator leaves the compound to carry out his daily tasks he/she is representing the company and all it stands for, and the driver operator’s attitude and presentation reflects the company to Valero and its sub-contractors.
Requirements
The Candidate:
Driving experience and ADR licence holder Flexible to overtime requirements Proven experience of operating under a 24/7 call out system (required) Demonstrate good teamwork skills CPC licence holder (desirable) Experience driving HGV vehicles preferred but not essential as newly qualified drivers will be considered A valid ADR licence
