Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)Location: DerbyTrust: Odyssey Collaborative TrustRate of pay: £83-97 per dayContract type: Full time, part time, adhocThe Supply register are delighted to be working in partnership with The Odyssey Collaborative and we are currently recruiting for experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to work across their Primary Schools, on a temporary cover basis supporting with full time, part time and day-to-day requirements.What will the role consist of?Looking after children's physical, social & emotional well-beingKeep records & attend review meetings if and when requiredYou will be required to use your innitiatve to adapt class work to suit student needsWorking alongside other members of staff to provide outstanding support to all studentRecognising signs of distress in children and offering reassurance.Form positive relationships with children and support them with developing confidence in all areasWorking with children with different SEN requirements. This may be in small groups or on a 1-1 basisRequirements:Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (HLTA) or related Teaching Assistant qualificationHave experience working with in young people with SEN previouslyExperience working with SEND students is desirableHave excellent interpersonal and communication skillsHave high expectations of all pupilsHave high expectations of themselves and work collaboratively with other staffDemonstrate an excellent understanding and commitment to SafeguardingYou must either have a DBS registered with the udpate service or be willing to process & pay for a new one  - this is essential**The Supply Register is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, and we expect all applicants to share this commitment.
