Highways Development Control Engineer Hampshire 6-month contract, ongoing. Negotiable rate dependant on experience, £35- £40 per hour   An opportunity has arisen for a Highways Development Control Engineer with experience in Development Control and Section 278/38 Engineering to join a busy client in Hampshire on a contract basis. You will be responsible for the design and development of section 278/38 works. Projects will range from small-scale improvements to significant Highway works.   This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £35 - £40 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements are available.   Duties & Responsibilities:-Providing specialist engineering advice on highway development management projects -Leading on negotiations with developers to secure financial contributions via s278 and s38 agreements -Project managing large-scale highway development schemes -Inspecting and supervising projects on site when necessaryPrevious experience in Transport Engineering and Highways is essential for this role.
