As a History Teacher in a school based in the heart of Hertfordshire you will be required to:Undertake training and development as required and to assist, where appropriate and necessary, with the training and development of colleaguesContinue to raise achievement for all learnersDemonstrate outstanding teaching performanceTo carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the school's policies under the direction of the Head teacherTo plan individual learning for those learners identified on the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Register in line with school policy including completing Individual Education PlansUse previous assessment effectively when planning future learning and planning assessment alongside learningSet clear learning objectives and success criteria for all lessonsSet challenging targets for all groups of learners and for individualsThe school requires QTS, PGCE or equivalent and ideally wants to see History Teacher candidates who have experience or who have trained in the UK.
