They ideally want someone who is already qualified or currently studying a HR qualification.
However, they would consider someone who has had exposure working within a HR department who is more junior and would like to start a career in HR.
As you would be joining a small team, so dynamics are hugely important.
You will need self-drive, not afraid to get “stuck-in” and possess a willingness to support others.
The RoleReporting into the Head of HR but working closely with the rest of the team, you will be involved with a wide variety of HR duties:• Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts• Monitoring and coordinating the mandatory e-learning platform to ensure all staff reach a good level of competence.
• Assisting with the preparation of the a metric dashboard which is presented to the Board on a 6 monthly basis.
• Identifying and delivery of efficiencies across the business.
• Supporting internal and external stakeholders with answering inquiries and requests relating to employment matters• Compiling and maintaining digital and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness leaves• Assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits• Supporting HR-related training programs, workshops and seminars• Entering employee data into computer database• Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations, onboarding arrangements and exit interviews• Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities• Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications• Supporting with HR project/business related work.
• Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency and identifying areas for change.
The CandidateHonesty and discretion are two key characteristics of an effective HR practitioner, and, as such, you will be required to operate within a highly confidential setting.
