Our client is a growing energy company based in Birmingham City Centre. They are searching for a Human Resources Advisor with experience with payroll and Employee Relations.Key duties include but are not limited to:Leading and managing ER cases including performance reviews and dismissalsTraining line managers on HR procedures and guidelinesWorking closely with managers and the wider HR teamProcessing and reviewing the monthly payrollAssisting with recruitment-preparing job adverts and conducting interviewsProcessing maternity and shared parental leave-organising meetings, formalising lettersHandling flexible working requests for staffLiaising with the business team to carry out inductions for the commercial business departmentManaging projects when requiredInitiating and carrying out inclusion and well-being engagementsUpdating the HR handbook and policies when requiredAssisting the head of HR with training coursesReviewing staff absences and return to worksLeading new starters and leavers packs The ideal candidate:CIPD qualified(Level 5 and above)Experience in HR and recruitmentUnderstanding and knowledge of HR policies and practicesKnowledge of employment lawExperience in payroll processMeticulous attention to detailProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent interpersonal skills to handle confidential matters and build internal relationshipsPositive attitude and adaptability towards different dynamicsWillingness to embrace change and creativityAbility to work well under pressure This role is an excellent opportunity that offers benefits and growth to the successful professional.
