Senior HR ManagerService Care Solutions are looking for a highly experienced Senior HR Manager to join the London Borough of Greenwich's schools HR team. The successful candidate will be expected to provide strategic leadership in the management of an effective and highly professional team within HR Advisory Services to deliver customer-focussed HR services, to support delivery of directorate and school and wider Council aims and objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide senior leadership and high-level operational HR intervention and advice to departments in matters relating to strategic/operational Employee RelationsContribute at a strategic and operational level, working with council departments and schools to identify HR priorities and people management solutionsHelp to develop, and implement, the Councils Workforce Strategy, ensuring the Council gets the best from its peopleWork collaboratively with HR colleagues and service departments providing strategic and high-level operational HR leadership on the implementation of organisational and cultural change programmes to support Council and departmental improvement goalsEnsure the opportunities for income generation are explored and achieved in support of HR & ODs core functions and the Councils wider strategies; and provide an effective Investigations ServiceRequirementsA degree or equivalent in HR, Business Administration or a related fieldExcellent leadership and management skillsExcellent knowledge of HR policies and procedures, employment law and best practiceExperience of working in a complex and changing environmentExcellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Hybrid working will be available after the first 2 weeks. 35 hours per week. £41 per hour.
