HSE Advisor in Gateshead

Safety Health and Environmental Advisor required for landmark highways project currently under construction in the North East.Working for a National UK Highways contractor you will support the Contract SHE functions by implementing and maintaining the SHE Management System, building relationships with stakeholders, and providing an independent view of SHE performance.This role will be carried out during night shifts.Key Responsibilities:·Support Contract Operational and Supply Chain Teams to implement the SHE Management System. ·Deliver and support training for effective SHE Management System implementation. ·Assist Contractors in meeting Contract SHE requirements. ·Provide feedback on Supply Chain Contractors' performance. ·Support annual Contract and Group SHE Objectives. ·Engage with the SHE Assurance programme for compliance. ·Investigate unplanned events and ensure lessons are shared. ·Report, analyze, and utilize SHE data to influence leadership decisions.Experience:·Essential: 2-3 years in a SHE-related role. ·Desirable: Over 3 years in a relevant industry.Qualifications:·Essential: NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent. ·Desirable: NEBOSH Occupational Safety or Environmental Diploma or equivalent.Professional Membership:·Essential: Tech IOSH or equivalent. ·Desirable: GradIOSH.Click APPLY NOW or call Luke Clifford to find out more information on this position!   Footnote: If you feel that you are right for this job technically, but the rate, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
