Human Resources Advisor

Fixed Term Contract - 10-12 months

Medlock Partners are recruiting on behalf of a well-known FMCG brand to help them appoint an experienced HR Advisor for a 12-month fixed term contract to work closely and support the wider HR team and business with all aspects of generalist HR duties.

Reporting into the HR Manager and working closely with a number of HR Business Partners, you will support on key People activities and projects such as recruitment, payroll, employee relations, training and development and culture & engagement.

Key responsibilities of the Human Resources Advisor:

Manage a wide range of employee relations casework such as sickness absence, performance, investigations, disciplinary, restructures & change, ensuring adherence to current employment law and company policy.nCoach and guide managers on HR best practices.nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.nIdentify and propose areas for continuous improvement.nResponsible for the wellbeing program for the business.nProvide reports and MI as required for the HR Business Partners.nProvide cover for the HR Administrator and Talent Acquisition Advisor.nSupport Recruitment across the business where required, including preparation of JD’s and interview questions.nPropose updates to policies, processes and ways of working in line with best practise.nSupport accurate monthly payroll delivery.nTake ownership of key HR activities including Wellbeing and Inclusion strategies.nAssist with a wide range of key HR projects to support the delivery of HR strategy.

Key requirements for the Human Resources Advisor:

You will have worked in a similar HR Advisor role and ideally you will have gained experience working in a fast paced, multi-site business.nExperience of managing a wide range of employee relations casework.nYou will be able to work autonomously as well as part of a wider HR team.nUp to date knowledge of Employment Law and current legislation.nIdeally you will be CIPD qualified or working towards this.nGood knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.nExperience in using a HRIS system.nYou will be required to travel to other company sites from time to time, therefore it would be ideal if you are a car owner and driver.
