SEN Teaching Assistant Full Time May 2024 Teaching Personnel are seeking a special needs assistant in Woolwich, to start in May 2024 to work Full – Time.

This position is working 121 with a child who has severe ASC, who is nonverbal in Year 3 – accessing early stages of reception curriculum.

What the school is looking for in you:2-year experience of working with ASC non-verbal children.

To be able to communicate by sign language - MAKATON, PECs and Core boardsUnderstanding of the SEND system in the UKGood spoken and written English - communication with parents, professional, colleagues.
