Intermediate Mechanical Estimator in London

Job Title: Intermediate Mechanical Estimator Salary: £45,000 - £75,000 (including additional company benefits)Location: Central London & South LondonCompany DescriptionA rapidly growing Building Services Contractor are based in both South London and Central London are actively recruiting an Intermediate Mechanical Estimator due to exceptional business growth. My client is a renowned M&E Contractor who deliver projects across London (Zones 1-5) in the commercial office, residential, educational, hotel & leisure & pharmaceutical sectors with market leading main contractors and developers.Due to this consistent growth over the last few years, my client is looking to increase their Estimating team to be able to continue an act on this growth. They are looking for a proactive Estimator who has had upwards of 3 years in a Mechanical Estimating role. Reporting to both the Pre-construction Director and Estimating Manager, working directly under these senior staff members will allow the candidate to rapidly expand their knowledge and will act as a speed track on their career.This is a stellar opportunity for an aspiring Mechanical Estimator with large aspirations to play a pivotal role for the future with an industry leading MEP Building Services Contractor. Whilst being on a market leading salary with elements of hybrid working available.Responsibilities/ Skills & ExperienceIdeally the individual should have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar position.Researching materials, equipment, and labour costs.Experience with Trimble, Contract Master is ideal but other estimating software experience is required.Strong excel skills are useful.Liaising with clients to gather requirements.Gathering quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.Assessing the level of risk for a project.Developing and maintaining excellent customer and full site team relationships.Analysing company data, exchange rates and prices using software packages.Preparing and submitting quotations for work.Always ensuring health & safety is followed.attending weekly design, progress, and commercial meetings.Monitoring the stages of a project to make sure that costs are kept in line with forecasts.Remuneration PackageA very competitive basic salary (dependent on previous experience/ track record)Fully expensed travelContributory pension schemeDiscretionary bonus (personal KPI/ company performance based)25 days holidayFor more information on this position and other similar building services related posts, please do not hesitate to contact Brandon Goatley of GH Engage
