ROLE PROFILE:
Electrical Design Engineer with 3 years or more experience working with IDNO’s, DNO’s or ICP’s in the United Kingdom.
The position requires good knowledge and understanding of the DNO/IDNO G81 standards across UK & Ireland.
The successful candidate will be joining an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) who have full UK coverage, the Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design of secondary substation as well as be involved with and work across other exciting new and ongoing projects. If required there will be the opportunity to receive specialist training and have the opportunity to progress your career within an expanding company.
The day-to-day duties of the Designer is to ensure that works are designed to minimise risks during the construction, operation, maintenance and decommissioning/demolition phases. With responsibility to ensure that all designs meet regulatory, statutory, client and industry requirements.
