IT Co-ordinator in Kidderminster

IT Coordinator

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Co-ordinator to join our team, based on site in Kidderminster.

This is a new standalone role that will be co-ordinating all IT activity across our 6 offices in the West Midlands, Worcestershire and Shropshire.

The role:

· Provide direct and timely support to colleagues on trouble shooting problems, take ownership of user problems, proactive in resolving issues.

· Coordinate and liaise with external IT provider on all IT related matters including data, wireless communications, mobile technology, telephony, security, and computer hardware and software.

• Coordinate and liaise with external support provider for maintenance equipment - laptops, PCs, scanners, printers, portable displays, projectors to ensure that these are functioning and available to users.
• Assist in keeping all IT equipment in offices working at optimal level.
• Deliver strategic aspirations, including project support and assisting colleagues with new system and applications and digitalisation.
• Assist in maintaining information security through employee education.
• Advise on IT needs (IT equipment, networking, connectivity, etc.) and manage procurement of IT assets.
• Maintain mobile phone contracts and upgrades.
• Develop, implement, and manage appropriate IT policies and procedures.
• Assist in budget planning and monitoring, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Assist in documenting and testing all installations or alternations to hardware or software, ensuring that the inventory is current, and all IT documentation is correct.
• Coordinate with external IT support teams, manage contract and service level agreement.

About you

· Proven IT background in a similar role

· Certification CompTIAA+ preferred

· Able to work on your own initiative

· Proactive and organised with strong admin skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· IT Literate, proficient in Microsoft Office software

· Have a UK driving license and car (travel expenses paid)
