Hawes and Curtis is looking for ambitious junior designer. The perfect candidate will have previous digital/print design experience. You may be either in-house or from an agency, but you have a portfolio which shows creativity and passion for design. In this role you will be working on varied and fast-paced projects across the business from digital to print, building your skillset and knowledge along the way.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Day to day responsibilities cover but are not limited to:

· Working closely with the Head of Creative, Creative Team to drive delivery of high quality digital and printed assets.

· Including website, email, social design. Design/produce print include seasonal store POS, packaging, marketing material.

· Be responsible for the creation of design solutions to briefed projects

· Maintain brand consistency throughout your work

· Following the correct design processes and creating high quality deliverables for projects.

· Build strong relationships with other departments through regular and clear communication and a collaborative approach to work.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You have many skills in your toolbox but find these to be at the core of your work:

·       Eager to learn with a can-do attitude.

·       Passionate about design whilst being aware of popular culture on a broader scale.

·       Able to present work clearly and articulately.

·       Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

·       Basic knowledge of Figma would be helpful but not essential.

·       Be digital first but are also comfortable working across print, with a willingness to always be learning new skills.

·       Work collaboratively with the team and confident to work independently when required.

·       Organised, with a pragmatic approach.

·       Ability to work under tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects at once.

·       Keen eye for detail, you notice every pixel.
