Junior QS/ Commerical Analyst Perm contract Salary: £42,500 Hybrid Working Hours: 8 till 5 (Mon to Fri) Role Purpose: To assist the Investment, Voids and Repairs & Maintenance Operations in the smooth delivery of a quality customer focused service. The successful applicant would have experience in Quantity Surveying or finance Background within a repairs and maintenance environment.The candidate will ensure that they are organised to work under pressure to carry our cost control tasks within our total Repairs IT system. Your primary focus will be to cost manage all works orders considering operative, supply chain and material costs (True Job Costing) whilst capturing all values associated to the order. Duties Inlude; Preparation and timely submission and agreement of interimApplying SOR codes to large volumes of works ordersRe-measurement and valuation of variationsPreparation and agreement of weekly applications andProcurement of subcontractMeasurement and agreement of subcontractors applications within 48 hoursMonitoring and control of costs/expenditure.Preparation of weekly and monthly financial reportsAttend subcontract pre-order meetings providing financialPreparation and agreement of Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR Process).Cash flow analysis for client and internalYou will have:Experience within the planned and responsive maintenance environmentMust have experience working with schedule or ratesAt least 3 years' experience of your background skillsAbility to undertake re-measurement of work and valuation and pricingBe familiar with Standard Forms of Contract desirableHave some experience of preparing loss and expense claimsAbility to recognise commercial opportunities For more details, please call Kiera on (phone number removed) or please send your most up to date CV to (url removed)Resourcing Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
