Junior QS in Wilton

Trade Cover Recruitment is currently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor for one of our clients.

As a Junior Quantity Surveyor with Trade Cover Recruitment, you will play a vital role in supporting our client's construction projects from inception to completion.

You'll work closely with our client's experienced teams, gaining hands-on experience in quantity surveying while contributing to the success of diverse construction projects.

Key Responsibilities: * Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.

* Conduct cost estimation, budget preparation, and cost control for projects.

* Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet quality, cost, and sustainability targets.

* Analyze project progress and expenditures, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

* Assist in resolving contractual and commercial issues as they arise.

* Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to construction practices.

Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.

* Passion for the construction industry and career development.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
