KS1 and KS5 SEMH Teaching Assistant needed !

Duration – This is a temporary, full time role , however it is likely to lead into permanent employment.

Pay- Competitive pay rates of £70-£75 per

The college provides its students with on site- residential care, where there may be potential residential roles that arise soon, Many of the students that attend the college have experienced severe trauma, meaning they may display SEMH and challenging behaviours, staff members will need to be able to work in a high pressure environment remaining professional.

Desirable criteria

-To have previous teaching assistant/learning support assistant experience

-To be confident working in 1:1 and group roles

-Experience working with challenging behaviour from KS1 to KS5

-Experience working with students that fall under the bracket of any of the following – Social Emotional Mental Health(SEMH) , Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) , Speech Language and Communication (SLCN) and Autistic Spectrum Condition( ASC).
