Legal Administrator in Surrey

Our client, based in Surrey , is currently recruiting for a Legal Administrator on a three month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately .

The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling and assisting with legal casework in a Local Government setting.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing administrative support to the Legal Services team
• Assisting the Legal Business Manager and Borough/Deputy Borough Solicitor with secretarial administrative support
• Registering and acknowledging letters, emails and monitor inquiries
• Providing assistance with the preparation of court bundles and letters
• Booking Legal Services team meetings
• Scanning of post and its distribution
• Assisting lawyers with caseload, subject to close supervision, working efficiently, effectively and economically

Experience required:

• Experience required in Local Government

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Preparing of court bundles and letters
• Providing administrative support

Working hours:

• 21 hours per week
