Level 3 Nursery Assistant for a Hereford Nursery SchoolHereford ASAP start Full Time - 5 days Term time (8.30am - 3pm)What is this role?A Level 3 Nursery Assistant will support the nursery teachers and help children in the class who require additional support with their work , alongside helping with diverse learning needs. In this role partially, you will be working in the nursery classroom generally, but you may also spend some of the day working 121 with any nursery children who need focused support in a more sensory appropriate space. The children are EYFS age, and this role requires either : Level 3 Childcare , Level 3 Early Years or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools in order to apply!Responsibilities of this role?A Level 3 Nursery Assistant will undertake a range of responsibilities to support the students, including:Individualised support: You will provide one-to-one support outside of the classroom, assisting with academic tasks, and facilitating their inclusion in classroom activitiesYou will build positive relationships with the child, promoting high self-esteem and independence.Adapt instructional materials: Modify and adapt teaching materials and strategies to meet the individual needs of students with special needs, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.Adapt communication style to respond to pupi  according to their individual needs.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to share information, monitor progress, and ensure coordinated support for students with special needs.Work in line with statutory safeguarding guidance and child protection policies.
