Maintenance Manager in Castle Donington

Arden White are searching for an experienced Maintenance Manager on behalf of a cargo airline based from East Midlands Airport. In this role you will oversee and be responsible for the Part 145 approved hangar and line maintenance facilities, ensuring the satisfactory completion and certification of all aircraft maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• The satisfactory completion and certification of all work required by contracted operators/customers in accordance with the work specification (Work Order and approved MOE procedures).
• Ensuring that the organisation's procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance. Including management and upkeep of the MOE.
• Ensuring the competence of all personnel engaged in maintenance.
• Establishing a programme of training and continuation training using internal and/or external sources.
• Providing feedback to the Quality System about the services provided by contracted Organisations, subcontractors.
• Responsible for responding to quality deficiencies in the area of activity for which he/she is responsible, which arise from independent quality audits.
• Ensuring, through the workforce under his/her control, that the quality of workmanship in the final product is to a standard acceptable to the organisation and UK CAA.
• The implementation of the safety policy and human factor issues.
• Developing a production planning system appropriate to the amount and complexity of the maintenance scope of work.
• Availability of sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect, and certify the work being performed.
