SF Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a highly successful and rapidly expanding PE backed business based in Birmingham. As a result of growth, they are currently on the lookout for a hard working, self motivated Junior Management Accountant. This new role is to support the Finance Manager with the day to day running of the finance function and requires someone who enjoys a hands on role supporting across the finance function.The successful Junior Management Accountant will be at least AAT qualfied, or studying ACCA/CIMA and have experience in a similar role. Role:Preparing and posting month end journalsReconciliation of bank accountsBalance sheet reconciliationsAssisting with preparation of month end management accounts for multiple entitiesIdentifying variances, and analysing trendsMonthly & Quarterly VAT returnsPrepayments and AccrualsReconciliation with costing reportsAssist with Budget and forecastingAssisting with purchase ledger when requiredIdentify areas for process improvementsAd-hoc duties, reporting and analysisRequirements: Strong work ethic and be a self starterAbility to work well as part of a team and be a team playerExperience within a hands on role in financeExperience with process improvements / implementations desirableExperience with Sage packagesStrong Excel skillsAAT Qualified / Studying Towards ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by ExperienceIf this role would be of interest please click apply
