Marketing & Events Assistant£25,000 - £27,000ShrewsburyMy prestigious Shrewsbury based client is looking for a Marketing and Events Assistant to join their small and friendly team.Working as part of a small team we are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active individual to support our marketing and events programme which includes careers fayres, business expos, seminars, agricultural shows, and social events. These may take place in local locations close to our offices or further afield and you will be required to travel to these events, therefore a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is necessary.This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to develop their marketing skills in a busy team within a well-respected and firm.Key Tasks * Working with the marketing director, plan, execute and attend events such as career fayres, business expos, seminars, agricultural shows, social events etc. * Assist with setting up display stands and peripheral marketing matertials. * Assist with the communication and management of guests lists. * Create and update spreadsheets and central documents. * Update record on Microsoft Dynamics * Develop e-marketing campaigns using Constant Contact or similar. * Assist with the firm’s website and ensure that social media presence is maintained. * Work with external graphic designer to arrange artwork and assist with the drafting editing and preparation of articles and assist with coordination of the electronic delivery of newsletters. * Updating Firms IntranetEssential Skills * Previous experience in a similar role * A recognised Marketing qualification would be advantageous. * Social Media experience including advertising mediums. * Experience of Constant Contact or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous but not essential. * Experience of Word, Excel Outlook, PowerPoint, and Desk Top Publishing * Ability to work unsociable or irregular hours. * Organised with good attention to details. * Driving License and own transportTo apply for this role please contact Sarah Dyehouse at Anderson Scott Solutions
