Materials PlannerM – F£28,000 - £33,000RedditchThe Role:This position reports to VP of Procurement and is an integral part of the Department with responsibility for review and inspection of outgoing and incoming goods to ensure the documentation and quality of the product meet our requirements. Whilst have a strong understanding of internal quality instructions, drawings, data and customer specifications. Produce the associated subcontract purchase orders/CofC’s and arranging the transport to ensure it is delivered to and from the supplier on time. The role also has responsibility for all aspects of warehouse / Goods Inwards/despatch and sub-contractor’s requirementsWhat will you be doing?Subcontract Co-ordinator * Review product compliance to internal and customer Specification, drawing and contractual requirements. * Generate and approve Subcontract purchase orders * Perform Inspection on inbound and out bound product * First point of contact for subcontract deliveries * To check the Operational process is fully completed complete Inspection operations and stamp and sign off.Goods Inwards * To check against the delivery, note and to determine the correct quantity, CofC’s are correct and visually inspect of goods to ensure no damage * Review incoming certifications for all incoming material against order requirements and stamp/sign to confirm compliance * To load the vehicle in line with the Safe Working Load Procedure (SWL) * To make necessary arrangements on transport to collect products as per Despatch note * 100% Weight and quantity verification prior to receipt * PI Counts Monthly/QuarterlyWhat will you bring to the party? * Ability to drive a Forklift & operate a crane * Proven administrative skills working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment * Strong understanding of different materials/metals would be an advantage * An effective time manager with the ability to multi-task * Excellent customer service skills * Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skillsWhat Happens Next?On applying for this job, you consent to SJR Partners holding your details on file to be able to contact you about your job search, for full details of our GDPR policy, please refer to our website.
