Our client has an opportunity for a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for managing the supplier performance across contracts for the service, inspection, testing and maintenance of mechanical systems. Role: Mechanical Contracts ManagerLocation: StaffordshireHours: Full TimeSalary: Up to £45,000 + company car What you'll be doing: Working with suppliers to overcome obstacles and ensure the effective delivery of multiple mechanically biased cyclical service & testing contracts.Providing customer support across approximately 600 properties predominantly within Staffordshire but also throughout the region.Being responsible for multiple mechanically biased contracts likely to include: Air Conditioning, Swimming Pool Plants, Gas Boiler Systems, HV Generators, Passenger Lifts, HVAC, Catering, Gas Tightness and Controlled Access.Operating a bespoke asset management system to manage contractor adherence to work schedules, report submission deadlines and auditing technical work reports for errors and omissions.Undertaking supplier staff audits to monitor safe working and competence.Assisting with the procurement process, updating and improving technical specifications, assessing supplier responses and mobilising new contracts.Requirements: Experience of facilities management in a large multi-site environmentPossess an in-depth knowledge of property statutory compliance regulations.Knowledge of property Health and Safety regulations and guidance notes etc. E.g.
