Mechanical Engineer - FMCGRotating days and nights 12 hour shifts OverviewThis is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer or mechanical fitter to join a growing company. As a Mechanical engineer, you will be joining an experienced a stable team in a challenging, yet supportive environment. The role will be varied on a daily basis with a focus on ensuring machine availability and minimising downtime. Responsibilities for the Mechanical EngineerProactive maintenance and site PMsReactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quicklyWorking across mechanical faults and maintenanceEnsuring production lines are operational and minimising downtime.Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine outputAdhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on siteRequirements for the Mechanical EngineerTime-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subjectExperience working in a maintenance engineer role previously, ideally in a similar industryAbility to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.If you’re interested in this opportunity and your CV is ready then hit the apply button and expect to hear from me soon.
