Are you a Multi-skilled individual looking for a challenging and varied new role? Do you live within the Colchester area? If so then this could be a great new opportunity!This automotive manufacturing company near Colchester are offering a starting salary of circa £14ph, with overtime available at increased rates of pay! Core hours are 07:30-16:30 Monday - Friday.They are looking for an assembler who will ideally have experience working within a fitting environment such as shop fitting or coach-building. You will be working with a range of materials such as wood, plastic and metal, to fabricate and convert their products. Anyone with basic welding skills would be of interest too.You will need to be experienced in the duties below to be considered for this role, as well as having your own transport.Fitter duties include:Fitting parts using hand and power toolsAluminium weldingAssembling parts and working from drawingsFabricating various forms of metalWoodworking including basic DIY / carpentryFollow company health & safety policies as and when requiredAs previously stated, this is a multi-skilled role so you will not stuck in one place all day.
