Mechanical Supervisor (Sewage Treatment Works) - 12-month+ CONTRACT - Twickenham, LondonVGC Energy, part of the VGC Group Ltd are pleased to be recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor with Sewage Treatment Works experience in the Twickenham area, Greater London.This role is site based and is initially for 12 months, with the possibility of extension following review.Full Time 45 hours per weekUp to £350 per day (inside IR35)Mechanical Supervisor (Sewage Treatment Works) - Responsibilities * To Supervise and Manage the operational resources (people and physical assets) in order to implement the plan for the assigned Sewage Water Treatment project safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction and the gross profit. * Supervise Sub-Contractors, providing guidance, mentorship and support * Cooperate and coordinate with all the stakeholders including the client-side, internal and supply chain to ensure the project outcomes are achieved. This would include contributing to the organisation of shut down methodology agreed in a timely manner * Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems within the Sewage Treatment Plant * Understanding the Water Process Works * Monitor and perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment * Engaging with the supply chain and support the contractor delivery and commissioning process * Maintain up to date knowledge of Sewage Treatment processes and their related mechanical systems * Ensure RAMS are followed / review of ITP's and ATEX documentationMechanical Supervisor (Sewage Treatment Works) - RequirementsParticipate in the planning and scheduling of Mechanical maintenance activities: * Water Process Works * Preliminary Treatment, Screening and Pumping * Primary Treatment - the Wastewater enters primary settling tank where the flow of water slows down * Secondary Treatment - Aeration and Final Settling * Disinfection * Sludge Treatment * Waste-to-EnergyMechanical Supervisor (Sewage Treatment Works) - QualificationsSSSTS or SMSTS
