Motor Mechanics - Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Motor Mechanics specialist to join our partnered school.
This unique role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in motor mechanics to make a positive impact in the lives of students with SEMH needs, providing practical skills and vocational training within our specialist provision.
Key Responsibilities - Motor Mechanics: * Plan and deliver engaging motor mechanics lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of students with SEMH needs.
* Provide hands-on instruction and practical demonstrations in areas such as vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
* Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences, ensuring accessibility for all students.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
* Collaborate with teaching staff and external agencies to develop personalised learning plans and vocational pathways for students.
* Monitor student progress and provide ongoing assessment and feedback to support their development and achievement.
Requirements: * Mentoring or Teaching experience teaching motor mechanics or vocational subjects.
* Strong knowledge and practical experience in motor mechanics, including vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs or other additional support requirements is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* A passion for vocational education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of students.
