Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance EngineerLocation: HullIndustry: FMCG ManufacturingSalary: Circa £44.5kShifts: 4 on 4 off (DAYS ONLY) - NO NIGHTS !!We have an exciting opportunity available for a well-established FMCG manufacturer. Here at Futures, we are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer due to continued growth and expansion of the company.Reporting into the Engineering Manager a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will take responsibility for both proactive and reactive maintenance duties within this fast paced production environment. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will share responsibility for achieving budgeted machine performance targets and ensuring the machines are kept running to peak performance within the manufacturing unitKey responsibilities Of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:Daily plant inspections, monitoring plant performanceYou will need to facilitate a speedy response to all plant stoppages and plan/implement modifications to new and existing equipmentCarrying out fault finding diagnosis/repairs on equipment and plantYou will have to ensure the PPM schedules are maintained in accordance with the current requirementsContinuous Improvement - identify new methods and proceduresEnsure accurate & timely records are entered / recorded of all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares / consumables usedSuccessful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers will be;Previous experience of working within a FMCG manufacturing environmentTime served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding an Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering HND / HNC / BTech / ONC / C&G Level 3 qualifications or higherExcellent communication skillsWorking well under pressureWhy work here?The company value their people and want to provide a platform to be creative and grow to their full potential.
