Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer for one of their Supply Chain clients in the UK.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for Network and Operational support for their EMEA offices and sites.
He or she will be part of a small IT Infrastructure team supporting L1-L3 tickets as well as, project work.
Projects can include network implementations configurations and administration of the global network.
This position is a hybrid working model with 2-3 days/week work from home.
This position does require travel to the EMEA sites on average once a month.
The candidate should have the following:
- Network engineering and administration experience
- Understanding of all aspects of design and implementation of corporate networking and systems infrastructure, including MPLS, VPN, network connectivity, Internet access, email, servers, etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency with IPSEC VPN technology from multiple vendors, experience with Cisco ISRs, DMVPN and Fortinet
- Experience configuring Layer 2 and layer 3 networking with 802.1q (VLANs), 802.1af/at (PoE), 802.1d (STP), BGP, OSPF, LACP
- Experience supporting SDWAN technology
- Experience designing and implementing administering Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls
- Experience supporting Wireless Access Points and wireless security protocols such as EAP with RADIUS
- Basic Azure AD and on-prem Active Directory administration experience
- Basic Microsoft Exchange, M365 Administration experience
- Ability to travel across EMEA region with no restrictions on average once/month
It would be a plus if the candidate had:
- Cisco CCNA and Fortinet certifications
