You will be able to demonstrate practical, holistic support and be prepared to go above and beyond for theyoung people you supportTo work closely with the Nursery Manager and existing staff members to ensure that the values and mission of the Nursery are achieved.

● Clarifying and explaining instructions● Motivating and encouraging the pupil(s) as required by providing levels of individualattention, reassurance and help with learning tasks as appropriate to pupils' needs● Assisting in weaker areas, e.

g.

speech and language, reading, spelling, numeracy,handwriting/presentation etc● Using praise, commentary and assistance to encourage the pupil to concentrate and stayon task● Liaising with class teacher, Inclusion Manager and other professionals about Educationand Health Care Plans (EHCP), contributing to the planning and delivery as appropriate● Providing additional nurture to individuals when requested by the class teacher orInclusion Manager● Consistently and effectively implementing agreed behaviour management strategies● Helping to make appropriate resources to support the group● Supporting differentiation and feedback to class teacher Desired skills/qualifications:Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualificationEarly years pracitioner or Nursery Assistant experienceHave a flexible, can-do approachRequired:Ensure your CV covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible (all employment breaks must beexplained)Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and full referencing processProvide professional references to cover you for at least 12 months within the last 2 yearsHave legal right to work in the UKAbout Us:Randstad Education is the UK market leader for recruitment within education.
