Online Editor in Dartford

ONLINE EDITORENGINEERING PORTFOLIOMark Allen is looking for an Online Editor to develop and take ownership of its digital content and social media across its brands – Eureka!, New Electronics, Manufacturing Management and Machinery and MADE in Ireland.This is a hybrid role, 3 days in our Dartford office, with a starting salary of up to £27,000 (DOE) plus benefits. We will provide on-the-job training where required so you feel fully supported.Key Responsibilities: * Be an integral part of developing and managing new digital initiatives to raise the websites’ editorial and commercial profile. * Grow this role by researching and taking ownership of your own stories. * Write and edit news items across a range of exciting topics in this loved industry. * Manage the digital content * Demonstrate creativity and take ownership of the titles’ social media profiles enhancing the brand profiles and increasing our exposure to a wider audience. * Liaise with the industry to source content * Collaborate with print editors to ensure synergy between digital and print contentYour transferrable skills: * You can demonstrate previous editorial skills - there is an option to upload previous examples of your written work in the application. * Some experience producing and optimising web content or certainly a willingness to learn. * Knowing how to use individual social media platforms effectively to reach our target audience.
