Paint Sprayer/Finisher Salary: £32,500 Location: Bristol Rota: Monday – Friday - DAYS My client, one of the largest generator specialists, is seeking a skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join their team.They are looking for a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in preparing and paint spraying a variety of items including Generators and Containers.What will you be doing in this role?
- Fully prep jobs, including filling, dent removal, and masking.
- Mix and carry out painting of Containers and components in Two Pack Paint (Sikkens/Mipa) Standard RAL Colours, including repairs/paint of company vehicles.
- Comply with the latest legislation, using Water Based Paint where necessary (metallics).
- Book out all paint stock to appropriate jobs, while informing the Fabrication manager of all shortages.
- Comply with the company’s Health & Safety Policy, ensuring work areas/Spray booths are tidy.
- Follow all aspects of the company’s procedures regarding its quality, environmental management, and occupational health & safety ISO accreditations, contributing to the continuous improvement program.
- Previous experience as a paint sprayer and finisher
- General engineering background.
- Qualifications in advanced spraying would be ideal
- Forklift Licence – desirable.
