Capstone Financial is an award-winning financial advisory firm based in Altrincham. We advise individuals, families, and business owners on what financial plans they need to put in place to achieve their financial goals and objectives for the future. Our services range from retirement planning and investment planning to personal and business protection, inheritance tax planning, employee financial wellbeing and NHS Pension Reviews.

We are a large, Senior St. James’s Place Practice with 15 Financial Planners and in excess of 2,000 clients and are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Paraplanner to join our existing team.

Your main duties as a Paraplanner will include:

• Reviewing cases and working with our team of Financial Planners to gain an understanding of the recommendation in line with client needs and objectives
• Checking and confirming fact find information with the Financial Planner
• Reviewing and checking ceding scheme information and liaising with providers where information is missing
•  Ensuring that the recommendation is the suitable course of action for client and that the case is processed in line with SJP compliance
• Writing and tailoring high quality suitability reports based on discussions with the Financial Planner
• Undertaking research and analysis to identify suitable solutions
• Preparing cash flow plans with the Financial Planner using the cash flow planning tool Voyant
• Producing accurate and compliant client records using our back-office system
• Identifying and discussing any discrepancies of the client file with the Financial Planner

The ideal candidate will have the following experience & qualifications:

• Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning qualified
•  2+ years experience as a Paraplanner
• Understanding the financial planning process
• Knowledge of FE Analytics and Voyant
• Experience of working with Sales force and SJP related systems would be advantageous

A hybrid working option is available after 3 months of employment, with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.

Salary is negotiable, depending on experience, skills and qualifications.
