We’re looking for a Peer Worker to join the team running the Staying Well Eastbourne crisis service.

The service operates evenings and weekends and we’re looking for someone with lived experience that thrives on supporting others using the Peer Support Model.

This role focuses on providing one-to-one and group support to clients experiencing crisis.

To succeed in this role you’ll need a good understanding of working in mental health or equivalent transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting people to explore their needs.

You’ll receive a comprehensive induction followed up with regular training and we’ll invest in you to give you all the tools you need to succeed.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of our innovative community mental health services within the area.

You’ll join a supportive, flexible team and be working for one of the leading providers of mental health services in East Sussex.

This role is for a 26.

5 hour post, split across 3 days one week and 4 days the next week on a recurring four-week pattern.
