Join us as we build the future together!We are recruiting a plant batcher to join our team at our Gateshead site. This full-time, permanent position works 48 hours per week + overtime. You will need previous Plant operation or manufacturing experience within a similar industry to hit the ground running.So what's the mission?Working as part of a small team, you'll use our systems and processes to batch mortar and screeds, meeting customer needs while ensuring our internal quality requirements are met. You'll work closely with the team to maintain site housekeeping to a high standard and put health and safety at the forefront of everything you do.You will conduct all activities required for stock control and administration tasks, including the use of IT systems to operate the site and link to the company's processes.What are the mission-critical skills?

  • Experience in mortar/screed/concrete or another industrial role
  • Effectively communicate and build strong relationships with all colleagues
  • Coordinate and support customer services in maintaining effective transport movements
  • Supervising adherence to environmental permits
  • Conduct general site maintenance such as greasing
  • Inspections & checks and basic repairs
  • Experience in maintaining & improving site quality control and standards
  • Conduct checks and confidently use a mobile plant (Telehandler)
