They interpret drawings for the finished product, adjust machine settings for speed, material feed, and bend path, and ensure proper setup and functioning of machines. Additionally, they maintain equipment, uphold safety standards, and inspect finished products for quality.Main Activities:Produce precision sheet metal components using press brakes.Apply precision tools such as Vernier callipers.Operate and upkeep machinery.Ensure cleanliness and organization standards are met.Assist team members with diverse responsibilities.Follow Health & Safety Policies diligently.Execute additional tasks as needed within the manufacturing domain.Skills & Abilities:Proficient in precision sheet metal fabrication.Skilled in setting up and running CNC press brakes.Adept at interpreting engineering schematics.Experienced in utilizing engineering measurement tools.Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and adhere to deadlines.About the Client:Our client is a manufacturer of metal items that are looking for a Press Brake Operative to join their team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.
