Principle Accountant - Bedfordshire
Day Rate: £440 - £550 per day - Negotiable depending on experience.
Contract: Initial 6-month contract with a view to being extended
Work Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday.
Hybrid Working - 2 days required in office per week.
Spencer Clarke Group are working with a local authority in Bedfordshire to aid in the recruitment of a Principal Accountant.
Role Brief: Ideally a qualified accountant or qualified with relevant LGPS experience and good communication skills as activities will involve liaising with custodian, external auditors, investment managers and our pool company Border to Coast.
What we’re looking for:
Investment accounting – quarterly postings from newly appointed custodian.
• Pension Fund Accounts and Annual Report.
• External audit
• Capital calls/distributions
• ONS Returns
• FOIs
