​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have partnered with a leading Infrastructure Investment Management firm that is looking for a Private Equity Analyst.

As a Private Equity Analyst with a prestigious Infrastructure Investment Management firm based in London, you will be an integral part of the investment team, contributing to the analysis, execution, and management of private equity transactions within the infrastructure sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a globally recognized firm in the heart of the financial hub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in investment origination activities, including researching new geographies/technologies

  • Furthermore, support the due diligence process on potential investment opportunities

  • Actively identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities within the infrastructure space, conducting thorough market research and financial analysis.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and emerging opportunities in the infrastructure sector

  • Moreover, prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Evaluate and present investment recommendations to senior management, providing comprehensive insights into potential risks and returns.

  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating the performance of existing investments in the infrastructure portfolio

  • Lastly, build and maintain relationships with external advisors, consultants, and portfolio company management teams.

  • Skills Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Additional certifications (CFA, ACA, etc.) are advantageous.

  • 1-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field, with exposure to infrastructure investments.

  • Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of financial software tools is desirable.

  • Furthermore, understanding of infrastructure investment principles, project finance, and deal structuring.

  • In addition, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to present complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.

  • Moreover, the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lastly, strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
